We have 2 days of activities available to all of our guests. Arrival Day and Wedding Day.For guests staying onsite, our check in time is 3:00pm on Friday June 18.For local guests, not staying on site, you are welcomed to come to the Arrival Day events including pool party, and welcome reception dinner.Wedding Day is Saturday June 19.Please see the Details page for timeline.

The Vibe

Get ready for a weekend adventure at Bandy Canyon Ranch! Tucked into San Pasqual Valley—home to sunny citrus groves, vineyards, and just minutes from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park—this private ranch is all ours for the celebration. Think lush gardens to explore, shady palm groves, an on-site animal sanctuary, a pool and hot tub for cooling off, cozy fire pits for evening hangs, and 15 bungalows for family and out of town guests staying on site. It’s part nature escape, part family camp, and 100% ours for the weekend.

Ample parking for all guests.The venue will contact you with directions and instructions.

LODGING

We have 15 cottages on site for family and friends that are coming in from out of town. We have them for Friday and Saturday. Those cottages include studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, and 3 bedrooms. Once we have a finalized RSVP list we will reach out to you personally with your room arrangements and cost.Those not staying on site: if you live locally but want to stay nearby we can assist in arranging hotels or Air Bnbs.

Dress Code

Aim for polished but comfortable. Daytime temperatures in the canyon can get warm in June, so light, breathable fabrics work best. Evenings cool down, so bring a light jacket or wrap. Think flowy dresses, dressy separates, or lightweight button-downs and chinos. Choose shoes you can dance in — we will have a dance floor but we’ll also be outdoors among gardens, fire pits, and under the stars.

Entertainment

We are excited to have a very music-centric wedding, featuring a live band, a wedding DJ playing crowd favorites in front of the outdoor dance floor, and a late night DJ house set indoors in The Adobe building.Family fun includes yard games, visiting the animal sanctuary, the pool, and exploring the gardens and grounds.

Margarita & Paul: Our Story

Our first date was at an outdoor music venue on a Saturday night in late November 2019. Margarita still teases Paul that it nearly didn't happen—he’d spent the whole day on a boat and was exhausted, nearly calling it off. As a man of his word, he took a quick power nap, rallied, and met her outside the venue. Conversation flowed, the music was great, and by the end of the night we both knew something special had begun.

A few months into the relationship, the pandemic hit. While that was a difficult time for everyone to adapt to, it brought them together, and Paul quickly became part of Margarita's family. They spent a lot of time outdoors, going on camping trips, hiking, and climbing mountains.

One of our favorite family outings are our San Diego Seals games. Paul has been their team chiropractor since 2019 and we've been going to every home game as a family for 7 years.

Paul always loved to travel, and all of the kids outside of Leilani had never been on an airplane. We started a tradition of taking the kids on a solo trip when they turn 14.

In the spring of 2023 we were blessed to be welcoming our son into the world later in the year. Margarita's nephew, Victor, did an amazing job with our photo shoot in La Jolla.

For the proposal Paul had scheduled a family photo shoot for the day after Thanksgiving. It was the perfect time to have all the kids together and dressed up, while maintaining the surprise. Once the photographer said it was a wrap on the family photos, Paul pulled Margarita to the side and dropped to one knee.

The&nbsp;Vineyard&nbsp;at&nbsp;Escondido&nbsp;is&nbsp;available&nbsp;for&nbsp;golf.&nbsp;Paul&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;playing&nbsp;9&nbsp;holes&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;boys&nbsp;on&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;morning.&nbsp;

The Vineyard at Escondido

Rancho&nbsp;Guejito&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;super&nbsp;cute&nbsp;winery&nbsp;located&nbsp;only&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple&nbsp;miles&nbsp;down&nbsp;the&nbsp;road.&nbsp;On&nbsp;weekends&nbsp;they&nbsp;have&nbsp;free&nbsp;tractor&nbsp;rides&nbsp;(with&nbsp;free&nbsp;pours&nbsp;of&nbsp;wine!),&nbsp;jumpers&nbsp;for&nbsp;kids,&nbsp;and&nbsp;live&nbsp;music&nbsp;2-6.&nbsp;
